The Powder Coating Institute is presenting a session at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) on powder coating on wood-based substrates. Scott Persyn from PPG and JR Rogers from Wagner Systems, Inc. will review the benefits of powder coating wood-based substrates, including the how and why powder should be considered as a better alternative to liquid coating. This session will explain the process differences when powder coating WBS versus liquid coatings, and an overview of the equipment required. The cost savings of utilizing powder coatings will be detailed along with success stories.
