GEW has announced the recent promotion of Adnan Ali to the role of commercial director. Based at GEW’s UK headquarters, Adnan is responsible for the company’s day-to-day commercial arrangements across all territories and manages both UV systems and spare parts departments. He acts as the key internal contact for the sales teams, managing all GEW’s project proposals and quotations for new equipment and spares parts with OEM partners and end users.

Adnan joined GEW in 2012, following his graduation in Mechanical Engineering (BEng). The depth and breadth of knowledge he now holds on GEW products and their applications is second to none and of great value to the business and the teams he manages.

Robert Rae, managing director of sales at GEW, said, "As Adnan has developed in the organisation, from an Internal Sales Admin to Commercial Manager, the improvement in our processes and results have been clear and he is now making the same impact on the strategic development of the business more widely. Adnan is an endless source of ideas for improvement of existing business, and development of new business opportunities. He has become a critical member of GEW’s senior leadership team over the past five years and thoroughly deserves his promotion to the board of directors."
