Venjakob RollerAt this year's LIGNA tradeshow—an expo for woodworking tools, machines, and production lines—Venjakob Maschinenbau will present its competence for roller coating machines live, for the first time.

For individual coating solutions in the field of spray coating technology, Venjakob, which is based in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck, Germany, and operates globally, offers an extensive product range, and covers all processes included in a finishing line—from pre-treatment (cleaning/activation/intermediate coating sanding) to coating, automation and drying to exhaust air purification or energy recovery. Venjakob also offers different application technologies.

In addition to spray painting, dipping, flow coating, or casting, Venjakob, in cooperation with the Wo-Tech company, has been expanding its competence around roller coating systems for some years.

Increasingly, these are not requested as a stand-alone solution, but in combination with other application processes, or as an entire finishing line. The company will be providing demonstrations at LIGNA 2023. It will be demonstrated how profiled workpieces are effectively coated with a 100 per cent UV coating material using a special transfer roller. Curing takes place in a UV system, with which Venjakob combines energy-saving UV-LED technology with a Surround UV module to ensure optimum irradiation of shaped workpieces. Afterwards, the coated workpieces can be stacked and packaged immediately as the coating is completely cured.
