Jeff Jirak has joined AkzoNobel as the company’s new surface chemistry general manager for the Americas. He comes to AkzoNobel from the DuPont spin-off Chemours, where he most recently served as vice-president and general manager of fluoroproducts diversified technologies. There, he led a $450-million portfolio of five global busineses. Prior to Chemours, Jirak spent 23 years in multiple business segments of DuPont, spanning a wide range of roles in manufacturing technology, operations leadership, supply chain management, sales and marketing, product and brand management, and business strategy.
