Datacor, Inc., a developer and provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) for process manufacturers and chemical distributors, has announced new capabilities for its CRM solution, eChempax. These latest features support smarter business decisions and better performance through visibility, ease of use, automation and integration. “As the chemical industry continues to change and evolve, businesses require fast accurate information about their customers and prospects,” says Sean O’Donnell, president of Datacor, Inc. “These new enhancements to eChempax will enable our users to access information with more speed and accuracy to maximize job performance, output and ROI.” New features include eChempax Scores, a customized scoring system that tracks the sales attractiveness and relationship quality of customers, prospects, suppliers and contacts; eChempax Traveler Energy, a metric used to measure how much time and effort is spent on customers and prospects; and eChempax Traveler & Google Maps, a mapping feature helps users visualize their data. This last feature uses geocoding and the Google Maps API to place markers on a map for customers, ship-to locations, prospects, suppliers and visits. Selecting a marker or a mapped location provides more detailed information about that company. The ability to view other companies in the area is useful for trip planning. The software also features Enhanced Analytics, an improved sales analysis charts and graphs have been added to eChempax to support better business decisions.
