Gema is announcing the retirement of Fernando Garcia Guerrero, Business Unit Manager of Gema Mexico Powder Finishing.
Gema says Guerrero’s 39 years of service have been an important part of the success of the organization. “He has guided our team in Mexico with the pride and integrity you would expect from a true leader. Under his management, Gema Mexico produced continuous growth and improved market share. Fernando was instrumental in hiring and developing strong organizational talent, introducing new products, and strengthening the image of Gema Mexico within the Central American region,” the company says.
Chris Merritt, General Manager, Gema North America, says, “Having worked with Fernando for many years I am very proud of the work that has been accomplished in our partnership together in developing the business.”
Guerrero will be replaced by Carlos Alberto Montero Luna, who, over the last 15 years, has been an integral part of the organization with responsibilities in fabrication, engineering, and sales support, Gema says.
In addition, Jamie Argyelan has been promoted to Distribution Manager for Gema USA Inc. He will oversee channel partners, strengthening their performance, while enhancing the service and sales support provided to Gema customers. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Argyelan will be leveraging his knowledge and skills gained in distribution and OEM sales of powder coating equipment, Gema says.
