Two months before the doors open at Fabtech, the Chemical Coaters Association International Finishing Pavilion is completely sold out. The pavilion is located in the South Hall with more than 195 exhibitors showcasing finishing products and services in more than 48,000 net sq ft of space, making this the largest finishing pavilion at Fabtech yet.  “We’re thrilled with the growth of CCAI’s Finishing Pavilion,” says CCAI Executive Director, Anne Goyer. “The number of attendees and the high level quality of those attendees at Fabtech is what has led to this outstanding growth we’ve experienced.  This is the premier trade show for the finishing industry in North America.” There is still a limited amount of additional space available in Hall C, located below the North Hall, for exhibitors who want to be involved. CCAI also offers a conference program to compliment the finishing exhibitors on the Fabtech show floor. This year, CCAI introduces a Finishing Spray Painting Workshop featuring classroom instruction and training in using a virtual reality spray painting system. Other topics include: Basics of Electrocoating; Curing Options for Industrial Finishing Operations; Testing: Why It’s Important & How to Do It; Troubleshooting for E-Coat Imperfections; Safety Codes & Compliance: How Important is It?; and Getting the Most Out of Your Pretreatment. CCAI members receive a member discount when registering for any Fabtech conference session. The show will be held from November 9 through 12 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
